The Seattle Sounders have re-signed young defender Kevin Sakuda for the 2004 season. Coming off his second indoor season with the San Diego Sockers of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL), Sakuda is ready for his second professional outdoor season with the Sounders.

(Mount Vernon, Wash.) - - The Seattle Sounders defeated the WSSA Selects 5-0 on Saturday in the Sounders' preseason finale at Mount Vernon High School. The Sounders controlled the game, scoring three goals in the first half, while Sounders forward Darren Sawatzky scored two in the second.

(Kent, WA.) - - On Saturday April 17, the Seattle Sounders faced off with the Seattle University Redhawks on a sunny evening at Kent’s French Field. The Sounders 3-2 victory started off strong as they controlled the ball for most of the first 45 minutes of the game. In the second half the Redhawks put the pressure on Sounders goalkeeper Ryan Witstruck, forcing new Sounders to come up big.
