The Seattle Sounders and U.S. Soccer today announced the Seattle side would host the U.S. Open Cup Final on October 2nd; to advance to the championship match, the Sounders must defeat FC Dallas of Major League Soccer on September 4th at Qwest Field.

The first 2,000 fans arriving at the Seattle Sounders Friday August 31st match against the Minnesota Thunder will receive a 2007 team poster that they will be able to take on the field after the match and get autographed by their favorite Sounders players. Kick-off for the match is at 7:30.
