The Seattle Sounders wrapped up their preseason schedule Tuesday evening at Husky Field with a 6-2 win over the University of Washington Huskies, behind four goals from Roger Levesque and some timely saves from former Husky goal keeper, Chris Eylander.

(Everett, WA) The Seattle Sounders defeated the Liga Hispana All-Stars by a score of 1-0 Sunday afternoon at the Everett Memorial Stadium. 1,563 fans were on hand for the match staged by Evergreen Soccer Academy as a benefit for Evan Garrett, a 13 year old Everett boy battling leukemia.

The Seattle Sounders held their annual media day on Wednesday at Qwest field. The brief ceremony included the unveiling of the new kits for 2007 and a preview of the coming season from owner Adrian Hanauer and Brian Schmetzer.

TAMPA, FL -- Monday, April 9, 2007 -- United Soccer Leagues and Fox Soccer Channel announced that Fox Soccer Channel has acquired the exclusive English-language television rights to select Friday night USL First Division matches and all USL League Championship games, a projected 27-game schedule annually, through the 2009 season. The deal also includes the broadband and mobile rights for USL on FSC matches.

The Seattle Sounders announced today that the 2007 Spanish language broadcasts of every 2007 regular season home match and away matches against the Portland Timbers and California Victory will be aired on 1680-AM La Jefa, a station operated by Salem Communications.

The Seattle Sounders opened their 2007 season with a 4-0 exhibition win over the Gonzaga Bulldogs Saturday night at Starfire Sports Entertainment Complex in Tukwila and followed it up with a 2-0 victory over the Puget Sound Soccer Academy Rapids at the Whatcom Community College field Sunday evening.

Saturday March 31 the team will face the Gonzaga University Bulldogs at 7pm in the Starfire Sports stadium. Tickets will be on sale at the gate and are $10 for the general public and $5 for Sounders season ticket holders and members of Starfire Sports. There will be a $5 charge for parking at the Starfire Sports Complex.
