SEATTLE – Defender Pete Luzak scored a late goal in the 89th minute – allowing the Richmond Kickers to escape from Qwest Field with a 1-1 draw against the Seattle Sounders Saturday night.

SEATTLE- The Seattle Sounders played host to the Hibernian Saints, the United States Adult Soccer Association national champions, on Tuesday morning in a special exhibition match for kids at Qwest Field. Brett Wiesner scored three goals and had one assist as the Sounders defeated the Saints 10-0.

PORTLAND, Ore. – In the Seattle Sounders first trip to Portland for United Soccer Leagues play in 2005, Portland's Paul Conway hit for his first goal as a Timber in dramatic fashion, scoring the game-winner to propel the Portland Timbers to a 1-0 shutout victory over the rival Seattle Sounders Sunday evening at PGE Park.

SEATTLE- A rested Seattle Sounders squad heads into the weekend with their last set of back to back games in 2005. The Sounders (9-3-7) host the Minnesota Thunder (5-8-6) on Saturday, August 6th at Qwest Field, 7pm. On Sunday, the Sounders travel to Portland to face the Timbers (5-7-5) for the fourth time this year (April 30, July 8, July 12 - Open Cup) and third time in United Soccer League regular season play.
