The Seattle Sounders have announced that the first 500 fans through the gates for Saturday night’s for the Sounders’ match against the Montreal Impact will receive a free ticket to the Thursday June 28th match against Miami FC at Qwest Field.
The Impact and Portland Timbers played to a 1-1- draw at PGE Park Thursday night. The draw takes Montreal’s winless streak to five matches ahead of Saturday night’s clash with the Seattle Sounders who are currently riding a five match unbeaten run that includes four victories.
Montreal have traditionally been a thorn in Seattle’s side, winning three straight league matches against Seattle including a 2-0 final in Montreal on May 20th.
Despite being without the services of captain Danny Jackson and forward Nathan Knox, the addition of Hugo Alcaraz-Cuellar back into the line-up will keep the Sounders optimistic about their chances of catching the Impact in poor form and earning three points Saturday night.
Tickets to the match are $18 reserved and $13 general admission and can be purchased through ticketmaster.com or at the Qwest Field box office.
