Advancing to the next level, he played soccer for the University of Washington. Foise scored five goals and had two assists in 18 games in his final season as a Husky. He was the Sounders third round selection in 2002. Foise played 180 minutes in 10 games in the 2002 season taking 3 shots on goal.
