Bio: Returning to the Sounders after a six-year absence, forward Greg Howes looks to add to his 2000 Rookie of the Year season with another incredible year in Seattle.
After his break-out season with the Sounders, in which he recorded 17 goals and seven assists, the Oregon State graduate spent two years each with the Portland Timbers and Wave United. He then transferred to play with the reigning USL First Division champions, the Rochester Raging Rhinos, in 2005.
Howes is a three-time USL All-League Second Team selection, 2000, 2003 and 2004. In his final season with Milwaukee, he racked up 26 points in just 28 games.
Also active in indoor competition, Howes signed with the Milwaukee Wave in 2000 which gave him the opportunity to play in the FIFA Futsal World Championships in Chinese Taipei. Howes is a two-time MISL MVP and MISL All-Star as well as a three-time MISL First Team recipient.
