The 2007 season marks Colin Rigby’s first with the Seattle Sounders. Rigby, drafted in the second round of the USL College Draft by the Portland Timbers, decided to start his professional career with the Seattle Sounders.

Rigby is one of four new Sounder forwards that will look to replace the loss of last season’s leading scorer, Cam Weaver.

The forward from Mercer Island, Washington scored a career-high seven goals as a senior at Seattle Pacific University leading the team for the season. He was selected as GNAC Player of the Week three times in 2006 and was voted to All-Far West Region second team by the NSCAA.
