Bio: Forward Cam Weaver joins the Seattle Sounders for his first professional soccer season. A member of the Seattle University National Championship winning team in 2004, Weaver scored 17 goals and recorded seven assists in his two seasons with the Redhawks.
After winning the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges in 2003 with Skagit Valley College, Weaver transferred to Seattle University as a junior in 2004, when he won GNAC Newcomer of the Year honors. Weaver earned All-GNAC honors each season, including a First Team All-GNAC selection his senior year.
Weaver was a four year varsity player for Kentwood High School, in Kent. Wash. As a senior, Weaver led his team to a third place state finish, earning an SPSL First-Team selection.
